The best beach clubs on the latest superyacht

Located at sea level at the aft of a yacht, the beach club is a waterside hideaway that’s often a firm favourite for any guest. They can be stocked with many amenities and sometimes double as a wellness suite, especially on larger yachts. The beach club often includes cocktail or juice bars, gyms, dive centres, loungers, and sun pads. The evolution of the beach club should not be overlooked.

TWW Yachts rounds up the best beach clubs on the latest superyachts, delivered in the past 12 months.

49.9m | ALUNYA | Benetti | 2023

Benetti revolutionised the superyacht beach club when it launched its patented Oasis Deck. ALUNYA is the second from this new generation of Benetti B.Now 50m with an open stern and more than 90 square metres of outdoor living space—an unprecedented offering for a sub-500 GT superyacht. The beach club is a waterside terrace with 270-degree views, large sun loungers, twin L-shaped settees, and a glass-walled infinity pool.

The construction of ALUNYA was managed by TWW, and she is one of the seven superyachts we delivered in 2023.

77.7m | MALIA | Golden Yachts | 2023

MALIA’s beach club is nestled below the large contraflow swimming pool, which stretches across the main deck aft. Its three large skylights at the bottom of the pool filter natural light into the wood-panelled beach club cum waterfront lounge.

Guests will find a health bar, a lounge area with a large U-shaped sofa, and a comprehensive wellness clinic with a Turkish hammam, massage parlour, sauna, and shower. 180-degree horizon views from twin terraces complete the experience. Thanks to an axe bow that conceals a helipad, mooring deck, and garage for a rescue tender, the beach club and social spaces remain uncluttered.

80m | LEONA | Bilgin Yachts | 2023

The latest from the award-winning Bilgin 263 series features another exceptional beach club. As the sister ship to TATIANA, the beach club aboard LEONA was highly anticipated—and Bilgin Yachts exceeded expectations. A large 8.7-metre swimming pool is once again the centrepiece, but that’s where the similarities end. LEONA swaps modern charm for antiquity.

Ancient Greece was the inspiration for LEONA, and reproductions of statues of Aphrodite of Milos frame the large pool. The walls and the sole of the beach club are marble with gold reliefs, and further forward are a bar, a hairdresser, and two lounges.

111.85m | RENAISSANCE | Freire Shipyard | 2023

RENAISSANCE, the largest superyacht built in Spain, has a serene beach club with waterside terraces on both sides, finished in light woods and soft furnishings. It includes a champagne bar, a cosy dining area, and several lounging areas. A swimming pool large enough for doing lengths adds to the amenities.

There is also a dedicated wellness deck with a fitness centre equipped with free weights, boxing gear, cross trainers, and a ballet bar with mirrors. Yoga and meditation areas are available both inside and outside. Guests can also enjoy the onboard treatment rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, and hair and beauty salons. The steam room and sauna offer ocean views from the balcony, and a glass-walled Jacuzzi on the aft deck is perfect for relaxation.

122m | KISMET | Lürssen | 2024

KISMET is the latest superyacht from the renowned German shipyard Lürssen to join the charter market. The majestic and timeless exterior styling is by Nuvolari Lenard, with refined interiors by Reymond Langton Design.

The seven-star beach club spa is a sanctuary of relaxation, following a Balinese-inspired theme. Key highlights include a hammam, sauna, cryotherapy chamber, a private treatment room equipped with a massage table, and a chromotherapy bathtub. The waterfall shower cascades from a gorgeous ceiling feature with lush green wall panelling, giving the sensation of plunging into a cascading natural water feature in Southeast Asia.
